When last we met Presence Project family, we planted our seeds, sunflower seeds, what we wanted to grow with intention.
I am so curious whether they have started to grow… both the seeds and the intentions.
There’s a courage in planting sunflower seeds.
They don’t hide what they’re here to do.
They rise fast. They reach. They turn their faces toward the light without apology. Huge fields of them moving together following the sun.
When they are small
The work still asks for care:
Good soil.
Consistent water.
Space to stretch.
But sunflowers remind us of something else too…
Growth doesn’t always have to be slow and quiet.
Sometimes it’s expansive.
Visible.
Joyful.
A daily choosing of the light.
And even on cloudy days, they keep turning…
That feels like a practice, a choice
To grow with intention.
To orient toward what nourishes.
To stand tall, even while we’re still becoming.
What are you turning toward these days?
